A variety of accommodation options is available on campus (Founder’s Bed and Breakfast £36 a night; Premium en suite £71 a night), and these can be reserved through the Registraion Site. Off-campus options are also suggested.
We are hoping to gain sponsorship to enable us to support those who would not otherwise be able to attend the ICT4D Non-Conference to participate. Full details are available on our scholarships page.
We very strongly urge all participants to check the relevant visa requirements to enter the UK and start the visa process at least three months in advance of the ICT4D Non-Conference, in other words by mid-June 2020. Whilst many visas are indeed issued qute swiftly, the process can be lengthy, especially from some countries. Should you require an invitation letter of participation for visa purposes, this can be requested during the registration process. Full information about visas to the UK is available at https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/what-you-need-to-do. Please also be aware that very sadly the UK is now leaving the EU, and processes and requirements may therefore change. Latest updates are avalable at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/visiting-the-uk-after-brexit. Please remember that many UK citizens still see themselves as European citizens, and very much regret any inconveniences that Brexit may cause you.
