As the UKRI GCRF funded MIDEQ Hub comes to an end in February 2024, we reflected with migrants in South Africa about what they have learnt from working with us (the work package on technology, inequality and migration), and how they are going to use their new skills to share their knowledge about migration and the safe, wise and secure use of digital tech with others. This page seeks to capture some of their diverse experiences through their own voices (click on images or text to view these short videos).
On working with us
The videos in this section mainly reflect on migrants’ experiences of working with our team. Some of these videos also comment on the documentary produced by Simone Zanetti and Maria Rosa Lorini that was premiered at the launches in Johannesburg and Cape Town on 15th and 18th January 2024 respectively. This film can also be viewed through the links at the end of this page.
Also watch the videos by migrants about their experiences working with us near the start of our work in South Africa.
