Dr. Amit Pariyar
Associate Professor, Kyoto College of Graduate Studies for Informatics, Japan.
Prior to joining KCGI, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute of Social Informatics and Technological Innovation (ISITI), University Malaysia Sarawak, where he worked on ICT projects that contribute to contextualizing learning for rural communities, online discourse on gender differentiated impacts of climate change, and the preservation of indigenous knowledge. He has also worked in Nepal as an IT consultant on climate change focusing on building adaptive capacity of poor and vulnerable communities
