Dr. Akber Gardezi
Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan.
Akber’s PhD from the University of Sussex was on pattern recognition algorithms, and he is team lead at COMSATS for research on Detection and Recognition for Evolutionary Robotics. He is interested in a wide range of ICT4D activities in Pakistan, and is leading an initiative on advocacy, policy making and the development of novel technologies for people with disabilities.
